Within river landscapes, hydrological flow regimes are partly derived from subsurface properties of their soils. In hydrological prediction and modeling efforts, quantitative and field methods are needed to predict outcomes from water management decisions. Specifically, we require greater understanding in connectivity and heterogeneity in both surface and subsurface water transport
